Parkersburg man arrested for burlgary and malicious wounding

     Parkersburg, WV - Parkersburg Police arrested 37 year old Fredrick Scott Charlton  of 12th Avenue, Parkersburg on Sunday on felony warrants for burglary and malicious wounding.
    
A Criminal Complaint filed in Wood County Magistrate Court by Detective L.R. Board alleges that on or about 10-3-12, Charlton went to the residence of the female victim in the 3000 block of Camden Avenue. After being denied entry by
the victim, Charlton used bodily force to bust the lock on the door and gain entry.  Once inside, Charlton grabbed the victim by the back of the head and forcibly smashed her face into a wall, causing multiple fractures to her face.
     The c
omplaint further states that Charlton had been instructed to stay away from the victim, and the incident occurred in front of the victim’s children, ages two and four.
    
According to the Wood County Holding Center, Charlton failed to post a $30,000.00 bond and is currently being housed in the North Central Regional Jail.
